The Museum System of the Valdarno di Sotto, which includes the Castelfranco di Sotto, Fucecchio, Montopoli Valdarno, S. Miniato and S. Maria a Monte museums, was established in 2007, with the support of the Tuscany Region and the Province of Pisa ,
in order to coordinate and integrate activities to make the function of education, sensitization and enhancement of the archaeological, historical-artistic and naturalistic heritage of the reference communities and visitors more effective and incisive.
